Travel

I’ve been getting around. In the last 2 years, I’ve driven over 30,000 miles. Here’s where I’ve been:

2013: Drove from Southern California to Colorado by way of Zion and Arches NP. Back to California by way of Las Vegas. Flew to Mexico City, then on to Playa del Carmen with some time in Tulum. Ten days in Cuba, mostly Havana. Back to California, where I drove up California through Oregon and Washington. Then out to Nelson, British Columbia and back across Kelowna to Vancouver. Back down to California. Drove to Burning Man outside of Reno, NV. Back to Southern California and drove around California for a while. Then drove out to North Carolina by way of Tucson, Austin, New Orleans, Memphis and Nashville.

2014: Left Asheville in March, drove back to California. Was in California and around the state through June. Drove to Flagstaff, Moab, Denver, Yellowstone NP, Glacier NP at the Canadian border in Montana, back over the Columbia River to Seattle, back down to Oregon and across the corn country to South Carolina with stops in Colorado, Boise and Kansas. From South Carolina, up to Wisconsin by way of Illinois and Kentucky. Then back from Wisconsin to Southern California in 4 days flat. California to Burning Man in Reno, NV and hanging around Northern California for a few weeks. Then, in December of 2014, I went airborne and landed in Hanoi, Vietnam where I celebrated the Solar New Year and left just before the Lunar one.
